Shipping within Canada- 
Can I pick up my order if I'm in the Muskoka area?

Yes.  Our physical retail location is in downtown Bracebridge.  27 Manitoba St. Inside the Annex. Please see home page to confirm shop hours.

What do you offer for shipping?

Orders are shipped out with Canada Post (unless otherwise arranged).

Standard Mail: 2-3 weeks international, 4-10 days Canada*, no insurance, no tracking (if you choose this option and your order is lost or undelivered, it is not eligible for refund). 

Canada Post Expedited/Xpresspost: 5-10 business days international, 1-3 days Canada*, includes tracking and $100 insurance (additional fees may apply for extra insurance coverage)

Rush Orders: Do you need your item sooner then the timelines posted? We do our best to accommodate requests depending on my show schedule and current inventory.  Please contact me prior to ordering if you need something asap and note that their may be a rush charge added to your purchase.

How much does shipping cost? Do you offer free shipping?

If you spend more than $200 before tax we will ship your items FREE within Canada. This will also include tracking.

Canada Post shipping can vary from $5.00 for standard to $15 through Xpresspost.  If you require a premium shipping service such as FedEx or Purolator please note that this will cost more, and a quote will be provided.

Please enter your ship-to address correctly. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the provided address. Orders returned to us due to incorrect addresses will be charged full shipping fees to re-send plus any return-to-sender fees incurred (yes this happens so please make sure your address is correct!).

* The timeframes listed above are estimates. Some orders may arrive sooner or take longer depending upon location within Canada or on varying customs and postal procedures for international orders.

 

Shipping outside of Canada-

I ship to various non conflict and low fraud countries.  *Import duties, taxes, and fees are not included in product or shipping prices and are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns-

Cancellations
You may be able to cancel an order provided it is not currently in production. For orders that we have begun to create, a partial refund may be possible on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion.  Jewellery from the ready to wear collection (that is free from customization) maybe returned for a period of 7 days with authorization for exchange or credit note.  To receive authorization; you must email with proof of purchase, at that point you will receive further instructions.  Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on shipping costs and sale items.  When returning items you are responsible for shipping costs and insurance. We recommend using a shipping service such as Purolator/ FedEx to track your shipment and send the package via overnight express.  All items being returned must be in new and unworn condition with all packaging.

 Please note  all custom pieces of jewellery are final sale. 

Warranty- 

At Magi J Designs, we do our best to ensure that all of our pieces are carefully handcrafted and free from known defects. We are happy to warranty for a period of one year from the date of purchase.  We will repair or replace any pieces we deem to have been defective as a result of the manufacturing process at no additional charge to our valued clients.This does not cover wear and tear, theft, or abuse of your fine jewelry.  As prongs for center stones need to be checked at least every 6 months to ensure the prongs are not getting loose, replacement of lost center stones is not covered. I highly recommend getting insurance coverage for your jewellery through Jewellers Mutual or added through your home owners or renter’s policy.(Proof of purchase must accompany items being returned for Warranty work. Shipping charges may apply.)

Generally we ask 4-6 weeks from the approval stage.  This can vary depending on the time of year as well as the availability of materials. See our CUSTOM page in the about section to learn more about how to start the process.

Generally within 3-5 days.  Most Items are made to order.  If you require your purchase sooner, please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that there may be a rush order charge associated with this request.

Our site includes a limited, but representative selection of our line. If you are unable to locate an item on magijdesigns.com we are happy to assist you with a special order for any item in our collection, assuming availability of materials. 


Yes.  

We do not reuse clients old silver generally, as it is more cost & time effective to start with new material.

Yes, we will do our best to match up your existing earring.  Some items are retired or one of a kind and therefore unable to be recreated.  For earrings that are still in our active ready to wear collections; the charge is half of the current retail price, plus shipping.   Please note in earrings that have stones- due to the nature of each stone being natural & unique, it is recommended that you send us the lone earring so we can make the best match. We do not guarantee that materials will be available, but we will try our best to make a match for you.  For custom or one of a kind items- we will quote you a price if we are able to recreate your item.

Yes.  We strongly encourage you to meet with us in person to have your ring size taken properly, or visit a quality local jeweller.  Many of our rings will resize nicely, however some of our pieces may have stones that are too delicate to handle the heat.  Please try to ensure the proper sizing before ordering.  If a ring you purchased need to be resized, please email me.  All ring re-sizing must be done in my studio and a fee may be assessed for additional materials and time. An estimate of the charge will be given prior to you shipping/returning the ring for resizing. You are responsible for shipping costs and any lost merchandise during shipping. I will provide you with shipping instructions.

SHOP POLICIES

Sales Tax + Duty:

Canadian customers will be charged their appropriate provincial/territorial sales tax. Sales tax will not be charged to customers living outside of Canada, but please be aware that you might be charged taxes and duties by your home country upon receipt of your order. 

Privacy:

I will not share your personal information for any reason whatsoever. Any information collected to process your order is used for just that.  I do not have any access to your payment information as it is encrypted.


Any emails that you receive from me will pertain to questions about your order or shipping updates. If you sign up for my newsletter you'll get the occasional notification of sales or special discounts to subscribers.
